Wollastonite is widely distributed and has large reserves in China.At present, China has discovered more than 100 wollastonite producing areas in 17 provinces and autonomous regions, with an estimated resource of nearly 200 million tons.By the end of 1996, 31 of the 14 provinces and autonomous regions had proved reserves of mineral deposits, with reserves of 13,2.65 million tons, ranking among the highest in the world.
